Puppies Coming and Puppies Going

Puppies have come and puppies have gone, all in the same three hour period!

Last Friday, while I was at the airport meeting puppy families and sending other pups on their way, Ulrika was home with my daughters having her pups.  Here she is in our living room with her six new pups, five boys, one girl, all previously reserved.

And here are the pups that have been going home:

Kayla to North Carolina

This happy pup, a female, is still here, waiting to go home to Montana next week

Maxie moved to Florida

Boomer also moved to Florida.  Scott writes:  "Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know the youngster is doing amazing! His name is now officially "Boomer"....Thank you again for this wonderful puppy, I am truly thankful I found you in the maze that is the internet!"

Baron has moved in with a family in Oklahoma where he will be a family companion and protector.

And pictured here is "Spirit" who is now in California training to be a Guide Dog.  Here I am (right) with Ann B. (left) of Guide Dogs of America and of course, the proud daddy, Max (front).

We have also been busy this spring competing with our dogs. Jake, handled by Hannah, completed his third leg for his CD with the AKC and Tag, handled by me, completed all three legs of her CDX.  One of my goals in sending these updates is to give you ideas for things you can do with your dog or pup.  You've seen the pictures of Hero and Indy working protection in schutzhund and for those who are interested, we keep adding more to the website.  But I also want you to see other things you can do with your dog, so we'll be sending you photos of Jake and Tag working obedience as well as some of Chinook working agility.  The point is, there is so much you can do that is fun and rewarding.

So stay tuned as more updates come your way.
