April 2011

As Spring bursts forth, there is so much to report.

First, the puppies from Drago, our awesome new stud from Germany, and Chinook, our third generation of DDR coated shepherds, are now three weeks old and blossoming.  Here are some pictures:

With two litters coming up out of some of the same fantastic bloodlines, some of our placements are considering rolling over to a later breeding.  This could make it possible for you to get one of these present pups.  They will be ready to go home May 3.  Otherwise, you have two more terrific litters to choose from,  both with similar bloodlines.

The first of these coming up are Jake and Sara.  Jake is our very handsome red sable male out of DDR lines. Jake shares the same sire, Dagger, the medical alert/ therapy dog as our beloved Max (Argus Maximus von Hoffnung our Search and Rescue Dog). Jake has accomplishments of his own, handled by our daughter while she was quite young, he has achieved his International Championship, and Obedience and Agility titles as well as a Schutzhund BH.  Sara is out of DDR lines as well. She is a stable dog who has earned her Canine Good Citizenship.

Next we have Max and Wessa.  This is one of our very popular pairs producing magnificent DDR style longcoats.  You can see many of their offspring on the Updates section of the webpage.

Both these litters are expected towards the end of May, beginning of June.

Out of our other lines, the litters we have planned for summer, are Drago & Rubicon (West German) and Hero  &Legend (Czech), each likely to produce fine working dogs suitable for Police Dual Purpose, Schutzhund, Agility, Search and Rescue, as well as Personal Protection or Family Companion.  Keep checking the Current Litters Page for updates on these puppies.  Another place to check for references and descriptions of puppies from their new families is our Testimonials page, which is updated frequently.

And feel free to drop me a line or send an email.  It is always good to hear from you!

Happy Spring!
